Honestly, belonging to a group doesn’t really immediately change your home and personal practice. You may add things, but it doesn’t right off screw up what you have. The group will (if they are good) value your input and may even incorporate some of how you do things. Mostly, you do what the group does when you are with the group, and that rarely affects what you do at home unless you have things you need to practice up on to get better at. I did need to lay off a few things while I was learning one or two new things, just so I could focus, but it was not permanent. People get this idea that a witchcraft group will police your at home witch habits, usually it does not.
