Its interesting, back in the 80’s and 90’s many took it at face value that Wicca was a synonym for Witchcraft. So at that time many people of various traditions went ahead and used the newer term for whatever craft it was they were doing, and some also incorporated some of the new elements into their craft. Faery Wicca refers to many of these traditions, Northern European Fairy Faiths, Feri, Third Road, RJ Stewart’s Tradition, and so on. And although these are all loosely connected, of course each is its own thing. I had always heard online of fierce distinctions between all these, but then later I took a workshop from RJ Stewart and he shared an experience he had hanging out with (F)(e)ar(i)e’s Victor Anderson, and of course RJ Stewart works heavily with the fairy faith of the the British Isles. And Third Road is related to Feri too. So they are somewhat intertwined through friendship and shared source material although none of the above are “Wiccan” proper.
