I’ve been wronged by my ex and want to do a spell to encourage him to reconsider his decision to cut all contact with me and end our friendship (out of a fear to face our problems). He’s a good person at heart, just emotionally inexperienced. I want him to be able to overcome his emotional struggles and find the strength to reconsider bad decisions. I do not want him to be forced into anything against his will, I’m here to help and support him with his issues, and reopen a strong link of mutually beneficial communication.
Any suggestions for spellwork or assistance would be greatly appreciated. ❤
I am answering this because its an interesting challenge. So I see the human spirit as having three parts of a whole. My favorite depiction of this is the Caudrons of Poesy—an Irish wisdom tradition. So you have your cauldron of warming that is in your sexual organs and stomach, it is your animating force and it is upright in everyone. Then in your chest and lungs you have the cauldron of motion that is tipped in you when you are born, but can be turned by sorrow or joy. And the Third Cauldron is in your head and it is the cauldron of Wisdom and people are born with it upside down, it can be turned by divine joy and human joy.
So if you want to help your ex-partner, you must help him with his cauldron of motion. He is processing sorrow and if you can scry/see his cauldron at a distance, in his chest encasing his heart, you can push at it a bit with your astral hand, to rock it up a little, just a tad. He needs to do most of this himself, but you can nudge him. But he could grow and mature by learning healthy ways to deal with his issues. The cauldron of motion is located at the lungs and is therefore associated with language and poetry and therefore also communication. You may be able to reopen communication with him through tipping your two cauldrons a bit towards one another.
I picture the bottom of the cauldron of motion butted up against your chest, and the open part of it facing your back. That’s just how I see it. Because that matches the bowl shape of our bodies. Just as the cauldron of wisdom faces down like the shape of our skulls, and the warming cauldron faces up like the shape of our pelvises.
