Why is it that white mystics from times past met with mystics from closed cultures and exchanged information and ideas? Why then is it that practioners from those closed cultures decry that what the white mystics have shared is not accurate tribal practices?!
When you get to a certain point in your mystical work/abilities/skills. You may earn the respect of spirit contacts and living mystics from other cultures. They may come to you and want to “jam” (engage in cultural exchange, or even just philosophical discussion.) What they share with you may be authentically what they like and do, but often does not contain the private and protected aspects of their culture.
Feel free to incorporate things you have exchanged, they might use what you shared too. But do not claim that you have Cherokee secrets, or know Huna, or what have you. And if you are a student of someone who has engaged in cultural exchange remember the same concept.
Keep doing your work, and mystics of other persuasians will come along, notice your power and may want to talk shop with you. Appreciate it for what it is, but don’t blow it out of proportion or stop your own work to attempt to take on theirs.
