Hi, I am Sara: fairy faith practitioner, traditional witch, artist, woman. I live in Washington in a little wooded bungalow with my roommate Sleepyoldowl and my kitty. I grow unusual plants like mandrakes, henbanes, and wormwoods for potions and magic. My roommate and I wander the woods round here collecting sticks for wands and berries for jams and pies. I started learning basic magic pretty young from my family although none of them are witches—they do some basic stuff. Magic brought my family together and my brother Forgotten-king-of-tomorrow and I come from magic so its no wonder I am a witch. I have been actively pursing a fairy faith path for 13 years now since I took Celtic history, mythology and mysticism courses from a witch and from a druid in University though its rooted in spiritual experiences from my youth when I had my first initiatory experiences with my fairy lover. I am an artist and I have some renown for a rather large and rather precocious painting I made of Mary. I found my way into traditional witchcraft about 9 years ago. But I just started training in a tradition six months ago because Ioqayin turned me onto it. I was very lucky to meet my boyfriend Puck through some magical experiences and I am very in love with him. I work a pretty good day job in a good industry and I like it most the time—though things can get busy and stressful, I have been at the same company for 4 1/2 years and plan to stay there a long time.
The best things in my life have come from magic—even my existence is rooted in a spell my mother did. My job, my relationship, my place with my roommate. So its witchcraft!
Thank you to all my readers new and old.
I write and reblog about fairy faith, traditional witchcraft, with a smattering of art, bisexuality, and anti-racism. I love getting asks and I post free kindle books whenever I find some good ones.
Thanks again for reading.
